Whats going on? relationship advice?

ok so heres the deal i have been best friend with this guy ben for 2 years and like most guy girl friendships i have had feelings for him for a good part of our friendship but he didnt feel quite as strongly so nothing ever came of it we snuggled and held hands sometimes but nothing else till we went on 5 day trip out of town to see my dad out of state the whole time we slept in the same bed and the night before we left we kissed and did that like all night now it almost 2 months later and we are still messing around but we hang out alot more and are alot closer now too i told him i consider us dating but he says he is not ready to call it that yet i know he is not interested in anyone else so do i just wait ? what do you think is going on?
