Would you forgive your best friend for telling your crush you kissed your ex?

There's this guy, Kimani, who I have a huge crush on and everyone knows we like each other, and all my friends like him (as a friend) also, except for my best friend, Jaeda. They used to be friends, but something happened that I don't know about. So, she's been trying to get me a new crush/boyfriend, one of my ex boyfriends (Clay). Now, Clay was a really good boyfriend when we were going out, but I really don't like him anymore. But she did it after I told her I didn't like him and to not to do it. So she starts this rumor that I kissed my ex, so that Kimani would get mad and stop liking me. And that's exactly what happened, but he says he still likes me, but not big on the trust factor. And Clay sent me a message asking if we could kiss again. So, Kimani's mad at me and Clay thinks I like him again and this is all because of Jaeda! Now, I wouldn't really care if she had other friends, but she got most of her friends from me, so they hate her now. She has 2 other good friends, but one of them who is also my other best friend, is mad at her for another reason. So that leaves Hailey (who I'm also friend wit, but not best friends) but Hailey isn't really her BEST friend or anything. They are just in the same homeroom, so she wants to be friends again, but I don't know what to do? Forgive? Advice? Thanks!
