Is this the result of liberal education?

I don't know what a "liberal education" is supposed to be. I know what a "liberal arts education" is, and it sounds like this teacher did not really have one after all. Someone might consider rechecking his credentials to see if he actually graduated from high school and then college. This seems incroyable, Mon Dieux! Are you certain that a bunch of 8th graders from this school did not fabricate this note? Or is it possible that this teacher had a mini-stroke or other neurological malfunction?
