Is Rabi Nachman Breslov a Messiah for many Israelites?

The current head rabbi of the Breslov community in Jerusalem, said specifically that his Rabbi Nachman was the Messiah stating “Rabbi Nachman Atoned for my Sins.” Today Sunday (in Israel first day) they celebrate 200 years of the death of this Rabi, who many see as the Messiah, proving many expect a Man as the Messiah, atoning for their sins, contrary to what many believe Judaism explains.
