Is it OK to wear a wedding full suite with stripes for job interviews?

I will be moving Down Under in a few months. I am in the IT field (Oracle programmer). I will have to go for interviews. I have a full-suit which I made for my brothers wedding. Its material has faint stripes, which is visible at a few feet. I was wondering whether I can were this suite for the interviews. Because here in Sri Lanka getting a new suite done will cost 3/4 of my salary.
