CC Sabathia and Phil Hughes chosen for the All-Star game, yet Andy Pettitte wasn't?

I can kind of understand why he might not have been chosen. Pettite is 37 years old and the one thing the Yankees did not want to do is take chance at his age. Well people will say, Phil Hughes is young and you have to protect him but in my opinion a young arm will hold up longer than an older arm that's just my opinion.
